Commercial Short Range UAS (< 3 kg)

Designed for basic remote sensing tasks in agriculture and environmental monitoring, this Mini-UAS product is available to the public and subject to Air Space Regulations. This Mini-UAS is hand launched and represents a basic, but effective UAS industry capability.

Consisting of a basic GPS controlled auto-pilot with radio control-link, camera payload in a Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) model airframe, this UAS is capable of conducting short-range (< 2 km) line-of-sight (LOS) operations.

Hi-Resolution Near-Real Time (NRT) jpeg images and Low-Resolution Real-Time (RT) mpeg video can be collected and record by this type. Basic ortho rectified mosaic maps can be created providing actionable data.

Designed for UAS applications and Mini-UAS payload research, this product is available to universities, Government and ITAR approved organizations. This electric powered hand launched product can operate up to 60 minutes carrying payloads of up to 1.5kg.

Consisting of an advanced GPS/INS navigation system in a purpose designed airframe, this UAS is capable of conducting accurate beyond LOS (20km+) operations, but is typically limited to its 6km Real-Time video link, as required by Air Space Regulations.

Designed for law-enforcement and military applications, these cutting edge products are subject to ITAR approval. Capable of advanced camera centric tactical level airborne surveillance operations, they are man portable offering day/night video and hi-resolution digital still options.

Micro-UAS are capable of delivering actionable intelligence. Ideal for small teams and patrol level operations, the small logistics footprint (designed to be carried by one team member) of Micro Bug-B with On-Point™ targeting software empowers the patrol level commander with a 2-4 hour out a pack "Over The Hill" ITSAR capability.

Mini-UAS are man and vehicle portable. They provide enhanced capabilities over Micro-UAS such as greater endurance, speed, altitude and multiple payloads.

The M-BAT 3 is a versatile utility UAS. Designed to capture video and Hi-Resolution imagery, it is the spatial work horse for V-TOL Flight Services. This UAS has been successfully deployed with US Forces to conduct POE reconnaissance missions. The M-BAT 4 is the bigger brother of BAT 3 being capable of extended operations and 20kg payloads.

Ranging in size from 17 to 74m and operating up to an altitude of 20,000+ feet, TCOM Aerostats are the most tested and reliable tethered airborne Persistent Multi-Purpose Platforms (MPP) available. Standalone or networked, TCOM MPP(s) with the ability to stay aloft for weeks at a time are capable of conducting many C4ISR missions by mounting: surveillance sensors, communication, WiFi and retransmission packages, EW/ELINT, weather monitoring sensors, IFF transponders, etc.

V-TOL in joint venture with Docklands Science Park has teamed up with TCOM to deliver to the Australian people a comprehensive surveillance solution designed for wide-area persistent monitoring of Australia's northern approaches, choke points and AEZ (Australian Economic Zone) while providing value-added communication and weather services to Australia's remote northern communities.

To conduct safe and compliant UAS operations, UAS controllers and Launch Recovery Facility (LRF) Safety Officers require UAS Ground Support Equipment (GSE).
